Where Secrets Begin

At twenty-three, Kayla Bruce has lost almost everything. Her father is dead, the family bakery is gone, and the only home she's ever known has been foreclosed.

With nowhere else she wants to go, Kayla heads to Ramble Rock, a picturesque little town nestled in the hills above Jamaica's north coast. Her online fiancé, Brian Grant, has offered her a place to stay until he returns from working overseas.

But Kayla has another reason for going to Ramble Rock.

It's the hometown her father refused to talk about. Determined to uncover her family's past, Kayla begins asking questions about the mysterious Blackwoods, a prominent family whose history is tangled with secrets, scandal, and long-held grudges.
